About ULMA AB
History
When ULMA was founded by Ulf Eliasson and Martin Karlsson it was a company in Svenljunga in the Southern part of Western Gotaland, Sweden, which sold measurement equipment for the industry. That part of the company was sold in 2006. From 2004 we have only worked with products for heating, but Ulf started in the heating business 17 years ago, so the interest for heating has existed for a long time. In 2004 we designed and manufactured our first pellet burner and have during the past years tested and improved the product.

Production

ULMA AB does not only manufacture heating products, but also equipment for disabled persons and wood processing machines, has a complete mechanical equipment such as CNC machines, edging presses, power-shears, lathes, mig-mag-tig welding etc. All products for heating marketed by ULMA AB have been manufactured by ULMA AB. No manufacturing is made abroad, only Swedish-made details
Products for environmentally friendly heating

As the example shows on the picture above, the boilers are welded together with top modern robot welding to
reach the best quality and durability.

The PLC control is tested on every product before delivery. Here the chassis cover and burner pipe are put together after that
they are packaged and delivered to our retailers around the country.

Our main goal has been to produce products for heating within bio-energy, first of all the pellet market. Currently we have pellet burners, screw feeding systems, vacuum suction systems and an own pellet boiler adjusted to our pellet burners in our product range.

Visions of the future

During 2011, we will deliver pelletizing equipment to the U.S. since we have entered into a partnership with a manufacturer in Minnesota. Investment in the United States that began in 2007 now appears to be a good step. We also have excellent contacts in Greece which we believe will be a market for us in the future. We will also this year launch  a new series of larger burners.
